Age
While there is no specific age cutoff for membership
in Blood Tribe, we expect our members to have a
certain degree of maturity and sophistication. We
are a mature clan.
Attitude
While BT members can get very serious about being
competitive and about clan matters, we are, for the
most part, a very laid-back group. We will kid and
poke fun at each other on the forums and on vent. We
do not condone any genuinely prejudiced remarks, but
understand that insults may fly for shock value.
There are three things to keep in mind in terms of
attitude when applying to BT:
- If you are easily offended, BT may not be for you.
- If you are always serious, BT may not be for you.
- If you are never serious, BT may not be for you.
Forums & Vent
- Please register on our forum if you are interested
in joining or have been given an invite. Provided you
have been given an invite, you will be given access to
the the appropriate forums for which you have been
recruited or have become a member of.
- Ventrilo is required for BT members. You are
expected to follow any vent rules.
Recruitment Process
We are not an open invite clan. If you are interested
in joining BT in one of the games we play, we ask that
you register and make a post about your interest. We
prefer to have some interaction with those interested
in joining before we give an invite, so catch us in
game, or on our forums, or on vent if you have been
given access. If we feel we.ve had enough experience
with you to make a decision, and you like what we
have to offer then we will give an official invite.
We ask all our members to keep in mind the following
conduct requirements below.
Member Conduct
We like to consider ourselves a tight-knit family.
We all have different personalities, interests, hobbies
and so forth, but we can all still game in harmony.
Please consider the following:
- Keep the flaming, boasting and shit talking
of/to others to a minimum.
- Do not cheat, exploit, or otherwise bring dishonor to BT.
- Respect your fellow clansmates and resolve problems quickly.
- Do not create situations that will affect BT performance and morale. (refer to 3)
- Keep arguments clear from in game chat and crowded vent channels (refer to 3)
- Foul language and obscenities are acceptable in moderation,
no racism.
We dont want gaming to be a job but please use common
sense and good judgement while with us. Warnings will be
issued but a continual violation of these requests could
call for members being removed from BT.
Inactivity
BT understands that inactivity will occur, whether due
to work, illness, real-life issues, or disinterest in
the game of the moment. In these cases, attempt to post
your reason for departure if possible. If you have been
MIA for an extended period of time without warning,
Blood Tribe may revoke your membership. Re-invites are
left to the members' discretion.
